Do not miss "Reggae Fest" at Shaw Millennium Park.


For three consecutive days reggae lovers will have the opportunity to enjoy the presentation of various films and music groups from Rastafarians bands worldwide!


Holland, Australia and Jamaica have already confirmed their participation in the same way they have done various local talents.


Up to Downtown West Kerby the twelfth edition of this popular summer festival will be held at Shaw Millennium Park located at 1220 9 Ave SW, Calgary, AB T2P 2C4.



The event is organized by the Calgary Reggae society. Who are deeply committed to local, regional and national promotion of this genre. The dissemination and the historic significance of music including its influence in other musical genres.


The main objective is to promote the development of reggae music in future generations, so as to promote peace, love, respect and care for nature.


Regarding the last point mentioned, the organization of the event has confirmed the integration of the global trend of large and important international festivals, which relates to the reduction of waste production, recycling incentive, education and dissemination of the audience about the importance of this behavior.



At the location you will be available to find free bike racks to supporting the use of this in an attempt to reduce the carbon footprint.


The event aims to be a music and family festival so different zones have been enabled for each audience. A popular children's area with games, crafts, face painting and for the adults a nice patio beers.
