Did you know that "Calgary" is the Fifth Best City to live all around the the World?

The prestigious media "The Economist" has published the results of its annual study.

A study involving 140 cities globally, which has been situated "Canada" as the third best country in the world to live.

In the first seven positions are:

1-Austria, Vienna

2-Canada, Vancouver

3-Canada, Toronto

4-Canada, Calgary

5-Australia, Adelaide

6-Australia, Sydney

7-Finland, Helsinki

Now in "Canada” the three cities mentioned above: Vancouver, Toronto and Calgary, repeat their presence in the top five of the best known cities to live.

The factors taken into consideration by "The Economist" for preparing the annual report are the following:

1 Stability of the city compare with the previous year.

2 Health Systems.

3 Education and Infrastructure.

4 Culture and Environment.

The city of Calgary has been tagged as a business community with great options at a cultural level, but it is in this area that should continue to work because "culture and environment" received the weakest average or punctuation of their statistics, as well as : the extreme temperature changes that the city has.

According to "The Economist" the scores of each city were very similar between each other. But undoubtedly, it can be concluded that the first positions are reached by cities that accomplished three simple factors:

- A medium size.

- Low density population.

- In wealthy countries.

The media, after released the expecting report, explained that due to the current contingency, unfortunately most of the countries evaluated; do not show promising changes compared with the previous year.

Some issues directly related to this statement for example are: problems and instability in the Middle East, the austerity of Europe, as well as the general discontent that has been taking place in large emerging countries such as China.

In the climate of impending war that has recently unleashed globally, highlights that the threat of an armed conflict not only causes damage to its own environment, but also affects the infrastructure collapses hospitals affects the existence of goods and services, and conducting recreational activities.

Fortunately, as mentioned in the previous paragraphs Calgary is far from that reality, positively standing out for his nonviolent environment, low crime rates, and the absence of civil insurgency, terrorism or war.
